We are delighted to announce that the 52^nd Meeting of the Italian Crystallographic Association (AIC) will be held in Bari from the 8^th to the 11^th of September, 2026.

The event will be jointly organized by the Department of Earth and Geoenvironmental Sciences of the University of Bari “Aldo Moro”, the Institute of Crystallography (IC) of the National Research Council (CNR) in Bari and the Department of Civil, Environmental, Land, Building Engineering and Chemistry of the Polytechnic University of Bari.

The upcoming AIC Congress will be a high-profile scientific event, providing a dedicated forum for the latest advancements in structural science. It also offers a valuable opportunity to meet colleagues, collaborators, and friends in the welcoming setting of Bari, fascinating cradle of Mediterranean.

The scientific program spans a broad range of topics, including crystallographic methods, crystal chemistry of minerals, advanced X-ray facilities, sustainable energy materials, crystal growth, crystal engineering, structural biology and drug design, crystallography dissemination.

The program is designed to foster scientific exchange between established experts and early-career researchers, highlighting the central role of crystallography in modern science.
